Platform Wars is a University of Antwerp research initiative exploring digital platforms, defence technology and contemporary conflict.

The team needed a credible identity and public facing platform that could give the research more legitimacy, make the work easier to recognise, and create a clear structure for communicating complex academic ideas to academics, policymakers, media, students and wider audiences. The platform also needed to feel credible within the fields of technology, defence and conflict, while remaining accessible beyond a purely academic context.

We turned an academic research initiative into a recognisable public platform, giving complex work a clear identity, stronger visibility and a structure built to grow.
We created a visual identity, logotype and digital platform that translated the research initiative into a recognisable communication system.
The website structure, content platform, design system and launch assets gave the team a clearer way to publish, explain and grow the work over time.
