Intimacies of Remote Warfare is a research programme examining how Western states govern threats at a distance through remote forms of military intervention.

↳Content
The programme needed a digital platform that could bring a complex expert field together, connect multiple research themes, and create a more accessible public entry point for policymakers, media, students, civil society and wider audiences engaging with the subject. It also needed to support ongoing publishing, events, expert voices and public debate around a field that is often difficult to navigate from the outside.

Solutions

We helped turn a complex field of research into an accessible public platform, where expert voices, stories, events and ideas could be found, connected and understood.

We helped shape the website structure, visual system, content platform and public facing digital experience, creating a place for research, media, events, projects and expert voices to come together.
The project gave the programme a coherent communication home and helped make a complex field of research easier to navigate, publish and engage with.

What this project shows

A complex research field can become easier to navigate when content, structure and visual language work together.
